It is a real team effort when it comes to returning the reading books to the resource room. First each child sorts their own books into the correct colour piles and then groups of 5 or 6 put all the same titles together and bundle them up. Then a kind parent comes along and returns them into the correct boxes back in the resource room. Many hands make light work!

Last week we learnt about Brazil with Miss Dippie

The Amazon Rainforest and River are in Brazil - Dan
It is one of the largest countries in the world - Riley
We had lots of fun learning about Brazil and made beautiful Carnival Masks
Here are some facts that we learnt
It is the biggest country in South America - Lachlan
The have masks with heaps of feathers on them for Carnival - Manon
The River is called the Amazon - Tom
There is a rainforest called the Amazon - Amelia
1/3 of all the animals in the world live in the Amazon Rainforest - Izzy
Yellow on the flag stands for gold - Tomas
Green on the flag stands for the rainforest and the blue is for the sky above Rio - Troy
Football is the most popular sport in Brazil - Dan
Frogs and monkeys live in the rainforest - Jemma
Sloths and piraƱas live in the rainforest - Izzy
