Orana Park

The Junior Team had a perfect day for their visit to Orana Park. We all travelled there in buses and each class had their own guide to take them around to see the animals. It was an amazing experience, we have learned so many new things and have seen some incredible animals. Everyone enjoyed the day and will have lots to talk about with their families tonight.

Grandparents Morning Tea

The Junior Team children hosted Grandparents and friends for a morning tea on Friday morning in the school hall. There was an amazing turn out with many people travelling a considerable distance to be there.
The children served scones and cream to go with the tea and coffees. They enjoyed reading some of their books to their guests and then proudly showed off some of the work they have been doing back in class.
I took as many photos as I could and apologise if I missed you out. We may be able to access some of Ms Kents next week. I can only down load 5 at a time so check the next few posts.

Sign Language Week

Rooms 5 and 6 were very quick at learning how to sign the alphabet. Can you recognise any of the letters that they are signing?

Proud Moment for Room 5 Pupil

Congratulations to Amelie for finishing third in the Year Two girls race on Tuesday. She paced herself really well and finished strongly in a race with a lot of very good runners. Well done. Room 5 are very proud of you.

Cross Country

Congratulations to all the Year 0, 1 and 2 Team children, you ran superbly well today in the cross country. The weather was perfect and we had plenty of parent support and encouragement. Well done everyone it was a very successful event.
