Buddy Class
Room 5 is very lucky to have Room 16 for a buddy class. They are a great group of children and woek really well with the younger students. They have been helping our children to become more secure when counting forward and backwards in 2s and 5s. Today they came prepared with worksheets and activities that they had prepared to reinforce the learning from the week before. The Room 5 childrem really enjoyed working with the older children and proudly have taken their work home to share with their families.
Discovery
Everyone loves Discovery, especially when we have Kerry workinh alongside of us making things for the Fairy Garden. Painting is always popular and so is the construction table. We are lucky to have the hall to burn off energy in and make up all sorts of different games with our mates.

Other Activities for Zoo Day
As well as learning about the jobs people do at a zoo the children each presented an animal report. The different presentations were amazing and the children were very proud of their efforts. The 3 classes ran an interchange programme where the children worked in small groups and made dioramas of zoo animals. Everyone also painted pictures of giraffes.
Zoo Day
Rooms 4,5and 6 held a very successful Zoo Day on Friday. Each of the children had a specific job to do just like a real zoo. There were vets, office workers, cafe workers, builders and maintenance staff, educators and like many organisations a group of volunteers. You can tell that everyone did a great job by looking at these photos. ,

Shared Book
It is great when the teacher can sit down and one of the students reads the shared book to the class. Well done Amelie, you did a grand job.
