Splash and Dash

We were lucky that the sun came out in time for the year 2 Splash and Dash today. In small groups of 6 or 7 the children splashed their way across 3 widths of the pool.





Next it was off around the field. Through the rope ladder,the hoops,under the big hurdles and over the small hurdles. Finally it was a sprint. Down the finishing Shute.








Well done everyone, you should be very proud of yourselves.

swimming lessons

Room 5 children are enjoying their swimming lessons with the Aqua Gym swimming instructors. The last 3 lessons are this week.

It was fun playing with balloons on the court last week. Tom brought them along as part of his news report. It was hard for some of the children to actually blow them up but they finally managed to do it.
