Growing seeds!!

Today Room 5 learnt what makes a seed grow.

Sun
Water
Soil
Time

The students planted alfalfa seeds and wheat grass. We are excited to watch them grow! :)

Trip to the Farm

We had a fantastic day visiting a dairy farm and seeing lots of cows! The children asked some fantastic questions and got to see inside the milking shed!

Library visiting

Tuesday is Library day for Room 5 children.

Discovery at the Beach

We chose the best day of the week to take the junior team to the beach last Thursday. The children had a fabulous time working together in small groups to use their imaginations and create some wonderful, creative sand sculptures each with its own story.

Massage Circle

A great way to end the day is with a massage circle.

Splash and Dash

We were a bit unlucky that the weather started to turn southerly just before we started he Junior Team Splash and Dash last Wednesday. The children all enjoyed the afternoon and performed really well.
